ORIGINS

Luben was founded in 1984 with the intention to offer a consulting service on the use of chemicals in glass factories.

Starting from Customers’ needs and with the aim to satisfy their demands, alongside with consulting services, Luben has included the supply of spare parts for forming machines and lubricants for the glass industry, since its beginning.

THE EVOLUTION

The aim of satisfying the increasing needs of the market with innovative solutions and the need to offer a complete 360° service push Luben to look for a partner who can help develop and strengthen its technical and productive branch.

Thus, a partnership with OMCA, that was founded in 1974, begun. Omca has always been at the forefront in the research, development, design and manufacture of high precision components and mechanical tools, together with equipment and plants.

The long-lasting and strong partnership between LUBEN and OMCA and also the need for development, renewal and answers to the many demands of the evolving market led to the birth of LUBEN GLASS.

LUBEN GLASS is now a company dedicated to the consulting, development, manufacturing and sale of plants, machines, mechanical parts, special equipment, alignment fixtures, services and chemicals for the glass industry.

THE NUMBERS

LUBEN GLASS stands on an area of 10.000 square meters; its staff consists of more than 30 people who work together to organize and manage the marketing division, the manufacturing and service department, the design and development and the energy division. Thanks to the growing number of products offered, LUBEN GLASS establishes on the Italian market in a short time and rapidly plays a central role for the glass factories in Europe and elsewhere. It distinguishes from its competitors for its ability to meet the growing needs of the global market that is increasingly researching innovative solutions.

Thanks to its Research and Development department LUBEN GLASS is able to offer a targeted consulting service and develop suitable solutions to satisfy its Customers’ needs. Through advanced Reverse Engineering technologies, Cad-Cam design, the R&D department is able to develop 3D mathematical models, faithful to the final product of standard as well as customized items. LUBEN GLASS is also able to design plants and equipment for the hollow glass industry thanks to an integral system that allows a complete supervision of the product from its development to its production.

LUBEN GLASS mechanical division was born to meet the Customers’ needs giving them innovative solutions through the manufacturing of forming machines parts and various kind of plants with the aim to satisfy the different needs both in cold and hot end. Thanks to the work of skilled technicians, we are able to supply standard items and/or items built to Customer’s needs, always providing the highest quality of the final product.

Thanks to its skills LUBEN GLASS is able to manage and guarantee the manufacturing and supply of items both in cast iron, aluminium and/or other metals; LUBEN GLASS can manage the production of small quantities, both standard and customized production.

DEEP KNOWLEDGE OF FORMING CYCLE

The deep knowledge of the production cycle for the manufacturing of the glass container allows us to develop and manufacture both standard products and customized and innovative ones. The mechanical division of LUBEN GLASS is able to manufacture all the variable equipment necessary to the bottle production cycle: from the drop forming to the delivery of the container to the packaging area.

The production quality is achieved with machines maintained in perfect functionality and updated with the latest technology available on the market. The high efficiency achieved in each step of the production process allows us to give the best answer to every need. ALWAYS PROVIDE A SOLUTION

LUBEN GLASS is able to manufacture plants and equipment both for hot and cold end giving a wide range of solutions to the needs and problems that our Customers deal with every day. Among the main products offered to our Customers there are units for the lubrication of the forming machines and the production lines, units for the blades lubrication, units for molds washing and polishing, units for the cold end treatment of bottles and many others.

MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS

The chemical division was born for the marketing of lubricants, oils and other products for the glass industry. Our products are suitable for various applications both in the hot end (oil for blades lubrication) and cold end (product for the containers cold treatment). To complete the range of our products we can supply oils and other products such as the polishing liquid for molds and plungers.

INTEGRATED CONSULTING

Through an integrated consulting process we work side by side with our Customers to advise, for example, on the most suitable layout, the most appropriate forming machines and variables equipment that can help manufacture the required article. LUBEN GLASS is able to manufacture equipment of forming machines starting from their basic structure to the final product.
